My research interests lie in the interface between quantum field theory and cosmology. In particular, I am working on quantum loop effects in the inflationary era and cosmological perturbations in modified theories of gravity.
 
Quantum fluctuations are vastly amplified during inflation because the rapid expansion alters the energy-time uncertainty principle in such a way that virtual particles live longer than in flat space. I primarily aim to quantify these quantum gravitational effects by calculating loop corrections to the correlation functions of primordial density perturbations.
 
I am interested in various types of modified gravity models describing either dark energy or dark matter (preferably both). I am currently developing the theory of cosmological perturbations and performing phenomenological tests on those models.
