Postdoctoral researcher positions in string theory and related areas

The Prague String Theory Group within the Central European Institute of Cosmology and Fundamental Physics (CEICO), at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, welcomes applications for several postdoctoral researcher positions in string theory and related areas. The positions will be offered for two years with a possibility of extension.


The group comprises Martin Schnabl, Ted Erler, Joris Raeymaekers, Renann Lipinski Jusinskas and Tomas Prochazka as well as several postdocs and students. We especially welcome candidates matching the group interests in worldsheet string theory (including ambitwistor strings, pure spinors etc.), open and closed string field theory, conformal field theory and higher spin holography.

Applicants for the regular position are requested to apply using the online form and to upload a single pdf file (font size no less than 11) with
  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • List of publications.
  • A one-page statement of past research achievements.
  • A one-page research proposal, describing also how their research interests would fit within CEICO.
