My research is predominantly focused on the cosmological consequences of modified theories of gravity, most recently the degree to which probes of the cosmic microwave background and the growth of large scale structure can discriminate between models that seek to describe dark matter. Additionally I am interested in phenomena such as parity violation in the gravitational sector, signature change of the metric tensor, and symmetries in gravitational theory.
