My research deals with the mysteries of the making of the Universe. The majority of matter in the Universe is some unknown form of Dark Matter; the majority of the energy density in the Universe is some unknown form of Dark Energy; and the little part which is visible and known (baryonic) matter is inexplicably there when theory predicts there should be nearly none. On top of that, the origin of the seeds of the large structures we observe in the sky is not fully understood. Bonus mystery: we are continuously bombarded by particles (cosmic rays) which carry the highest energy ever known, but we have little clue as to what they are and where they come from.
